With colder and darker nights upon us in the Queen City, it’s that time of year again to get scared to death at a haunted house.
Halloween haunted houses are great for date nights or big group adventures with your friends. I do pretty well maintaining a nonchalant brave face, but one or two “I might have peed my pants” scares makes me re-think the decision of coming to a field in the middle of nowhere with zombies and clowns.
Using HauntWorld.com, I found five of the scariest ones to visit in our area, and one I’ve been to in Atlanta that is worth the drive.
Some places have huge budgets to spend on the overall design, acting and extra amenities like corn mazes and zip-lining.
Be sure to double-check each website for dates, times, and pricing of tickets including some offering coupons on certain nights.
Order based on distance from Uptown Charlotte.
